Far-stretching Greenhouses
The Kangdong Greenhouse Complex, a large vegetable producing base, is well known not only in our country but also in the world. It was built as a leading greenhouse city after the greenhouse farms in Jungphyong and Ryonpho.
First we went to the mosaic depicting the respected Comrade General Secretary
Looking up to the benevolent image of the great father, we were in deep impression.
We went round the cylindrical greenhouse for vegetable cultivation and dome-shaped glass hydroponic greenhouse, visited by the respected Comrade General Secretary.
A farmer Sin Un Ryong said that she has done her job with the pride of working in the worksite visited by the respected Marshal
Listening to her simple and sincere words, we deeply felt the noble mental world of the new generation who grew up under the loving care of the Party.
Even now, the residents in Kangdong unanimously say that the great change beyond recognition brought in a year is unthinkable without the wise leadership of the respected Comrade General Secretary.
We were deeply moved to remember the painstaking efforts of the respected Comrade General Secretary to provide the ordinary working people with the foundation of new life of happiness and civilization.
Indeed, the Kangdong Greenhouse Complex was erected thanks to our Party’s political idea of believing in the people as in Heaven and the spirit of making devoted service for people.
We also witnessed the determination and striving efforts of the employees of the farm to take the lead in the drive across the country true to the noble intention of the great father who prioritizes wellbeing of people among all the affairs.
The Kangdong Greenhouse Complex is a precious wealth of the country erected by the grand plan of our Party which is opening the era of great transformation while redoubling its strength and enthusiasm along with the happiness of the people.
We See the Future to Be More Prosperous and Civilized
Kangdong County is also famous for many coal fields as well as ancient legends.
There stands Songga Senior Middle School amid coal fields, which attracts passersby.
Officials and working people in Pyongyang Municipality newly built the school as indicated by the respected Comrade General Secretary. The school is a perfect one equipped with modern facilities as required by the developing reality.
We pictured the rosier future of the school, seeing the students who grow up learning to their heart’s content in the new school built thanks to the Party’s benevolence and the officials and teachers striving to improve our education.
Then we went to the Songgum Livestock Farm of the Pyongyang Rural Economy Committee, which was wonderfully built under the loving care of the Party.
The respected Comrade General Secretary dispatched the strong construction force which had been mobilized in the construction of Samjiyon City to the construction of the livestock farm and took measures for supplying a lot of funds and materials.
They say that the livestock farm overfulfilled the milk powder production plan last year.
The eye-opening change in Kangdong County could be made only by our great Workers’ Party of Korea struggling to provide the people with new life and new civilization despite all difficulties. And our people firmly united around the Party make the transformation with our own strength and wisdom.
The great changes in Kangdong County make its people improve themselves and the county will surely prosper.
When such transformation is accelerated day by day and new creations ceaselessly erected across the country, our people will enjoy happiness and civilization to be envied by the world and it becomes the victory of our Party policy and the socialist cause.
