Loving Care Associated with Schoolchildren’s Palace
In late November ２０１５, the respected Comrade General Secretary
Feasting his eyes on the appearance of the palace which was splendidly remodeled as required by the new century, the respected Comrade General Secretary said that remodeling of the palace was little short of its newly-building.
Listening to his words, an official of the palace was wrapped in great emotion.

Even after his field guidance, the respected Comrade General Secretary took scrupulous measures for supplying materials, gave many precious instructions and took state measures for providing the palace with a complete set of modern educational equipment and musical instruments.
Going round various parts of the remodeled children’s palace, officials more keenly felt how fervent the love and affection of the respected Comrade General Secretary for his beloved posterity are.
It was when the respected Comrade General Secretary entered the hall of the palace.
The entrance hall whose ceiling was decorated with crystal chandeliers and the floor and walls with the best quality of finishing building materials of different colors presented a really spectacular sight.
Seeing the sight, the respected Comrade General Secretary said with pleasure that such a building as the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace is the edifice which no other country can build or imitate.
Officials were moved to tears.
Looking round the theatre of the palace, the respected Comrade General Secretary said that even professional art troupes would be envious of it and our children, the kings of the country, deserved to use such a wonderful theatre.
When he dropped in at the rhythmic gymnastic circle room, the respected Comrade General Secretary said that the surfaces of the wall were almost covered with windows and the circle room might be chilly because of cool air in winter. Then he had the officials turn on the light of the room.
After examining the brightness of the room, he added that it was needless to make the windows big as there were illuminators.
After a while, he gave a detailed instruction to completely prevent the coldness from the outside by making use of wet process.
Endless was, indeed, the love of the respected Comrade General Secretary for rising generations.
Looking at the wonderfully-built swimming pool with satisfaction, the respected Comrade General Secretary all of a sudden asked an official where the first-aid room was.
An official told him that there was an infirmary on the first floor of the palace. Then the respected Comrade General Secretary said that a first-aid room should be arranged at the swimming pool so that they could treat patients in it rather than piggybacking them to the infirmary when emergency cases occurred at the swimming pool.
And he taught in detail how to arrange it.
Such attentive parental love is reflected in every creation for our schoolchildren including the Samjiyon Schoolchildren’s Palace, the ２５０-mile Journey for Learning Schoolchildren’s Palace, the Mangyongdae Children’s Camp and the Songdowon International Children’s Camp.
Indeed, thanks to the respected Comrade General Secretary, the future of our country will be bright and rosy forever.
