37th Regular General Meeting of Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan
The 37th Regular General Meeting of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan was held in Tokyo of Japan on June 20.
Present there were First Vice-Chairman Pak Ku Ho and Vice-Chairman and Director of the Economic Department Hyon Tae Sik of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and delegates of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan.
The national anthem of the DPRK was played.
The chairman of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan made an opening address to be followed by a report.
The reporter noted that the federation has made valuable successes in the past two years by protecting and revitalizing the compatriots’ enterprises and dynamically conducting the overall work under the trust and loving care of the respected Marshal
The federation is faced with the task of creditably carrying forward the spirit and tradition of the founder generation as instructed by the respected Marshal
Then speeches were made.
Song Won Jin was elected chairman of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan.
Pak Ku Ho made a concluding speech.

Telling about the proud history of the federation spanning 80 years, he called upon the businessmen to continue to dynamically advance, closely united as one in keeping with the requirement of the new fighting period of Chongryon.
After the meeting, there was an enlarged meeting of the First Session of the 37th Council of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan.
Meanwhile, events took place in Tokyo on the same day to mark the 80th anniversary of the formation of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan. Present at the events was Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee.
