Brutality of US Imperialists Fully Disclosed during Korean War
Indiscriminate Destruction
The US imperialists turned our country into ruins by most brutal bombing and shelling unprecedented in the world history of war.
They mercilessly massacred innocent and peaceful civilians and turned cities and farms into ruins in disregard of all the requirements according to the law regulations of war.
In １９５２ alone, the US imperialists dropped over ２００, ０００ bombs and about １５ million Napalm bombs and fired more than ５００ million machine-gun bullets. They dropped various bombs over ５２, ３８０ in Pyongyang only. It is equivalent to １, ０００ bombs in one square kilometer.
They dropped more than ４２８, ０００ bombs on １, ４００-odd occasions during the three years of war. At the end of the war, it was difficult to find a sound building in Pyongyang.
The US imperialists severely destroyed ５０, ９４１ buildings of factories and enterprises, ２８, ６３２ buildings of schools, ４, ５３４ buildings of public health facilities including hospitals and clinics, ５７９ buildings of science research institutes, ８, １６３ buildings of press and cultural organs and ２, ０７７, ２２６ buildings of dwelling houses and reduced １５５, ５００ hectares of paddy fields. They also destroyed a lot of power stations including the Suphung, Jangjingang, Hochongang and Pujongang power stations.
Many national cultural heritages such as Yongmyong Temple and Pubyok Pavilion in Pyongyang, Tongmyong House in Songchon County, Puyong Pavilion in Haeju, Nam Gate of Kaesong, Nam Gate of Uiju, Pohyon Temple in Mt Myohyang, Phyohun Temple and Yujom Temple in Mt Kumgang were turned to ashes.
A lot of cultural facilities including Moranbong Theatre, South Phyongan Provincial Theatre, Hamhung Cinema House were severely destroyed.
There are many atrocities committed by aggression troupes in human history, but the history does not know such example made by the US imperialists who totally destroyed streets, villages and farming lands, which were not related to military facilities.
Inhumane Massacre
Massacres committed by the US imperialists are beyond imagination.
The US imperialist beasts mercilessly killed Korean people to make mediaeval-type barbarities.
In the regions where they temporarily occupied, the US imperialists mercilessly killed the people in disregard of jobs, sexes and ages.
Massacre committed by the US imperialists in Sinchon put even the notorious Hitler clique in the shade.
The criminal history of the US imperialists who provoked the aggressive war and mercilessly killed a lot of people can never be erased. All the facts clearly show that the US imperialists are beasts in human shape and the Korean war was aimed at obliteration of Korean nation.
Suffering all pains and ordeals, our people made a heroic struggle to defeat the enemies and totally shatter the myth of the "mightiness" of the U.S. imperialists and showed the US imperialist cannibals how strong the strength of the independent people is.
