A treasure factory of the country, herein lies the noble intention of the great man who wishes the officials and employees to make fresh innovations in their work with the sense of responsibility that their factory is indispensable to the improvement of the people’s livelihood.
That day, the respected Comrade General Secretary underlined the need to take measures for sufficiently supplying raw and other materials for the factory and thus enable it to do its part as a treasure factory.
When leaving the factory, he also stressed once again that the factory should continue to glorify the honor of a treasure factory.
Treasure factory--this call was full of the ardent sincerity, great trust and expectation of the respected Comrade General Secretary who is eager to provide our people with an affluent and civilized life at an early date and hopes the factory will discharge its responsibilities and role in the development of the country’s light industry and improvement of the people’s living.
Qualitatively to Win Favor of People
In January ２０１７, the respected Comrade General Secretary inspected the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill.
He said that the light-industry sector heated up the fighting morale pervading the country from the start of the year by wonderfully remodeling the Pyongyang Bag Factory and encouraged that the light-industry sector, the major thrust sector of this year, stood in the van of all the sectors.
The respected Comrade General Secretary said that the destiny of the Party’s light-industry policy mostly hinges on whether the products made by the light-industry factories win the favor of the people or not and continued that the victory of our Party’s light industrial policy is unthinkable apart from public favor.
The officials were full of excitement.
In the new year address delivered a few days before, he said that his desires were burning all the time, but he spent the previous year feeling anxious and remorseful for the lack of his ability and that he was hardening his resolve to seek more tasks for the sake of the people that year and make redoubled, devoted efforts to this end.
As he was spending days and nights of thinking and action for the sake of the people’s happiness, he put it forward as an important matter related to the destiny of the Party’s light industrial policy whether the products made by the light-industry factories win the favor of the people or not.
Presently, he emphasized that they should not produce products which people dislike and stay indifferent to and which don’t suit the tastes of the people, and requested that light-industry factories should make products to the taste of the people on a high qualitative level.
That day, the officials hardened their will to produce light-industry products in a larger amount favored by the people, true to his noble intention.
