Evaluation Should Be Made by People
The first short course for the chief secretaries of the city and county Party committees was held under the guidance of the respected Comrade General Secretary
He called upon the chief secretaries of the city and county Party committees to make the masses definitely turn the struggle for regional development into the work of their own by proficiently conducting the work with officials, Party members and other masses with higher sense of responsibility.
Saying that the chief secretaries should determinedly fight a way out and energetically steer the development of their cities and counties by actively applying good experience introduced in the short course to their work, he gave earnest instructions that they should always attach importance to the mindset of people and let their work be appreciated by the people.
Listening to his meaningful words, the participants were replete with great emotion as they deeply felt the noble intention of the peerless great man to conduct all work in the light of the people’s opinions and requirements.
It was the immutable faith of the respected Comrade General Secretary that no matter how much money the work takes, if it doesn’t benefit people, it can’t be accepted by them.
That’s why he enthusiastically appealed to them to become real servants accepted by the people on the road of serving our great people in the course.
His meaningful instructions of that day still remind officials what attitude and stand they should take in the work for the people.
Getting Closer to the People and Treating Them More Kindly
To devotedly work for ensuring the best convenience and life of the people constitutes the main attitude and traits our Party now requires the secretaries of the primary Party committees to have.
At the Second Conference of Secretaries of Primary Committees of the WPK, the respected Comrade General Secretary said that the secretaries of the primary Party committees are responsible for forming a firm link between the intention and feelings of the Party Central Committee with the minds of the employees of the units in their charge, underscoring the need for them to fervently love the people and show all sincerity for them.
It is high time for the Party officials to get closer to the people and treat them more kindly, he ardently said.
The officials fell deep in thought.
The respected Comrade General Secretary puts his heart and soul into further strengthening and developing our Party into the genuine motherly Party which takes warm and responsible care of the destiny of the people.
He spares nothing for the people, always prioritizing the demand and interests of the people.
Keeping in mind his precious instructions, the officials keenly realized once again that it is the due duty of an official to take warm care of people’s life with parental affection.
