Under Endless Benevolence

It has been ten years since Pyongyang Middle School for Orphans was built as a cradle of learning and home of happiness for orphans, thanks to the great benevolence and devotion of the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who is eager to provide all the good blessings to our rising generation.

In those days, an improvement was witnessed in the education level of the school and lots of achievements were made.

The love of the great father who cares so much for the orphans, providing them with new school things, uniforms, shoes and bags every year and with various fruits, foodstuffs, rare fruits and fishes every season, served as a nutriment which let the laughter of the orphans ring out endlessly in their fancy palace.

The school realized information communication via wireless network so that the orphans can utilize computers anywhere in the classrooms and dormitory. Recently, it has updated the system for supporting the operation of extracurricular teams, thus putting the management of the school on a higher IT level.

In this course, the school became an honored thrice red flag school and achieved lots of successes in education.

Many orphans presented collections of their literary pieces and diaries to the respected Comrade General Secretary and winners of Kim Il Sung Children Honor Prize, Kim Jong Il Children Honor Prize and several literature prizes like "Our Classroom" Literature Prize were produced.

The students distinguished themselves in the national exhibitions of children’s science fiction models and inventions held last year and this year and received children’s scientific research prizes.

Lots of their works won prizes at national sculpture and craftwork festivals and calligraphy festivals and the school came first in academic contests and sports games among schools of orphans.

Numerous students joined the army after graduation and a hundred and tens of students entered several universities including Kim Il Sung University and Kim Chaek University of Technology.

Among the graduates devoting their all to the education of children at Kwangmyongsong Primary School in Samjiyon City, island branch schools, and other schools are a winner of the Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize and an academic degree holder.

Also pride of the school are the graduates who volunteered to preserve battlesites of Mt Paektu in Samjiyon City, the labor innovators who stand in the van in fulfilling the yearly plan every year at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill and other graduates who are performing feats at difficult and labor-consuming posts and major theaters of socialist construction.

The bright and cheerful laughter and singing of the orphans who are growing up to be the pillars of the prosperous country possessed of excellent qualities will reverberate far and wide throughout the country.
