Whenever Recollecting Request of That Day
I have a notebook I read before a day’s work.
Recorded in it is the precious instruction of the respected Comrade General Secretary
I still become wrapped in excitement whenever I read through the notebook as the ardent sincerity of the respected Comrade General Secretary who is so anxious to improve the living of the regional people as soon as possible comes to my mind.
On December １９ last year, the inauguration ceremony of regional-industry factories was held with splendor in our city in the presence of the respected Comrade General Secretary.
That day, he gave precious instructions while looking round the foodstuff factory.
He paid attention to every single product being turned out at the factory.
He estimated the color of the oil and pear juice and taught to make them better, and personally tried the essential foodstuffs, liquor and cookies to be supplied to the people.
In fact, neither the officials who frequently visited the factory nor the producers paid much attention to the color of products.
However, the respected Comrade General Secretary realized the qualitative difference of products in the slight difference in color and clarified the cause and ways for overcoming it.
He also tried the soy sauce and instructed to produce soy sauce of different salinity.
Learning about the production line of bread, he kindly taught that foodstuffs should be tasty and, at the same time, pleasing to the eye and that various foodstuffs should be made with the same amount of raw and other materials.
Indeed, his instructions were an earnest request telling us how we should uphold the people and what attitude we, officials, servants of the people, should have in work.
On that unforgettable day, he requested the officials of Sinpho City and employees of the regional-industry factories to steadily and persistently push ahead with the work for the normal operation and increase production of the light industrial bases in the spirit of devoted service for the people in order to make sure that the vitality of our Party’s policy leads to the promotion of the well-being of the regional people.
I often read the notebook and harden my will to discharge my responsibilities and mission as an official who should make selfless, devoted efforts for the people.
