The President whom the world people so much praise and ardently yearn for was a great sage of benevolence who took warm care of all the people with the noblest virtue as a natural disposition.
The President met over 70 000 foreigners from 136 countries since the country’s liberation till the last period of his great revolutionary career.
Among so many facts about the noble virtue of the President deeply admired by the world people is the story about his ardent affection for Premier Zhou Enlai of China.
Premier Zhou Enlai is one of those foreigners the President met times out of number to promote friendship for 20-odd years.
When he underwent an operation for a fatal disease, the President paid a consolatory visit to him.
In April 1975 the President even went to see him in hospital.
At that time, the President warmly encouraged him to recover from his illness in a short time, saying that the whole world was worrying about him.
Deeply moved by the President’s revolutionary friendship and noble benevolence, the Premier ardently requested the President to guide the world revolution for the future of mankind.
Premier Zhou Enlai was a veteran revolutionary who was 14 years older than the President and an internationally-recognized outstanding political activist.
As he was completely enchanted by the benevolence of the President, he made such a heartfelt request to the President in his last moments.

In consideration of his wish, the President personally named his daughter and even wrote a letter carrying the name in person to send it to him.
As days went by, Moran became full of boundless yearning for and gratitude to the President who personally named her and bestowed great loving care.
So she sincerely presented the letter of thanks to the President.
In the letter, she also wished him good health and wellbeing.
Despite his busy schedule, the President personally read the letter enclosed with a photo the Indonesian girl presented to him and sent a benevolent reply letter to her.
He was much rejoiced at the news of her marriage and bestowed great benevolence of sending to her a wedding gift.
It was, indeed, the noblest and warmest parental love.
Even those persons who had been hostile to us bowed to the warm humanity and broad magnanimity of the President.
Among them is Gomes, former president of the Portuguese Republic who served as chief of staff of the Portuguese forces in Macao during the Korean War.
