Strength-everything Idea of U.S. imperialists Frustrated Scathingly in Korean War

Air Pirates Became Falling Leaves

The US imperialists tried to make up for the defeat in the ground battle line with "air superiority" but the air pirates couldn’t escape the fate of falling leaves in the autumn wind due to the remarkable activities of aircraft-hunting teams of the People’s Army equipped with small arms.

The members of the aircraft-hunting teams inflicted a terrifying shower of fire on the enemy planes on hills, at bridge entries, on roofs of buildings, and on running trains.

Lots of enemy planes were shot down.

An aircraft-hunting group of an infantry combined unit brought down three planes with heavy machine guns in a single day and eleven in a month.

A soldier became a hero of the Republic after shooting down five enemy planes with a rifle.

From the latter half of 1951, the US air pirates who suffered a serious blow had to switch tactics from low-altitude flight to high-altitude flight, from daytime flight to nighttime flight, and from solo flight to formation flight.

Even while making a sortie, they didn’t dare to approach their targets but wandered about in the empty sky and fled after dumping bombs at haphazard.
