The Workers’ Party of Korea Publishing House brought out Volume 39 (enlarged edition) of "Complete Collection of
The book contains 36 works including speeches, talks and conclusions made by the President from November 1960 to March 1961.
The President in his work said that it is the consistent work method of our Party to believe in the inexhaustible strength of the masses, rely on and consult with them and give full play to their wisdom and creative activeness in the revolution and construction.
The works clarify important tasks for putting emphasis on developing agriculture, light industry and fishing industry and realizing socialist industrialization and radically improving the people’s standard of living during the Seven-Year Plan, a new long-term plan.
They deal with the ideas of producing more diverse foodstuffs and daily necessities and improving their quality to meet the daily-increasing people’s demands and of successfully carrying out the huge task of capital construction.
Some works include the issue of accelerating the chemicalization of agriculture and producing synthetic rubber and the issue of expanding the area under cultivation by reclaiming new land, increasing the per-hectare yield and making good preparations for farming.
Besides, there are works giving the clearest answers to the theoretical and practical issues arising in overall socialist construction including the issue of planting trees of economic value and developing the mining industry, the issue of turning Pyongyang into a model city for the whole country in all spheres and the issue of rapidly developing the fishing industry as intended by the Party.
