The Workers’ Party of Korea Publishing House brought out Volume ４０ (enlarged edition) of "Complete Collection of
The book has ３８ works including historic speeches and talks made by the President in the period from April to August １９６１.
The President in some works stressed the need for the officials to establish the revolutionary habit of unconditionally accepting and thoroughly implementing the Party’s policies and intensify the Party guidance over the economic work.
In other works, he set forth the tasks for putting the chemical industry on a higher stage, creating a new sector and maintaining the equipment well and rationally arranging them to increase the production capacity.
There are also works dealing with the idea of producing various quality light industrial goods in large quantities by developing the light industry as soon as possible and thus improving the people’s standard of living.
Some works expounded the ways of developing agriculture of the country by increasing the per-hectare grain yield, expanding the arable land area and actively realizing the mechanization of agriculture.
Some works comprehensively dealt with the peerlessly great man’s noble intention of further developing the ordnance industry in order to produce modern weapons in large quantities, and of strengthening the defence capabilities to the maximum as socialist construction accelerates and the socialist forces grow stronger.
The volume also contains works giving comprehensive answers to the issues arising in dynamically accelerating the overall socialist construction, including the issue of establishing Juche in scientific researches, the issue of actively tapping internal reserves to bring about a turn in the production of iron and steel and the issue of increasing fish production by developing small-scale fishing.
