President Kim Il Sung Remembered Abroad

Meetings were held in China, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan, Romania, Austria, France, Egypt and Equatorial Guinea between July ３ and ７ to commemorate the ３２nd anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

Speeches were made at the meetings attended by personages from political and public circles and masses in those countries.

The chairman of the Bangladesh Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the chairman of the Egypt-Korea Friendship Association and other personages praised the President as the founder of socialist Korea, the tender-hearted father of the people, the peerless statesman and the peerlessly great man as he illumined the road ahead of the era of independence with the Juche rays and dedicated himself to the work for the country and the people.

A senator from the Pakistan People’s Party and the chairperson of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee lauded the undying ideo-theoretical feats of the President and his noble career for the people. And they referred to the fact that prominent figures of different countries and even politicians of hostile countries expressed reverence for the President, charmed by his noble traits as the peerlessly great man.

The chairperson of the Left National Party of Romania noted that through an event they came to keenly realize once again the noble personality of the President as a great man and that the DPRK people became the powerful people under his leadership. The chairperson wished the DPRK people greater success in their efforts to bring about the comprehensive development of socialism under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un glorifying the feats of the preceding leaders.

The general secretary of the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and DPRK praised the whole life of the President who performed great feats in accomplishing the socialist cause in the DPRK and the cause of global independence.

Messages to the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings held in Romania and Austria.

Memorial meetings, seminars, lectures, photo exhibitions and film shows took place in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland and Finland from July ５ to ８ on the occasion of the ３２nd anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

Present at the events were personages of political parties and organizations and members of Juche idea study organizations and friendship and solidarity organizations in those countries.

Screened at film shows were videos dealing with the popular career and exploits of the President.

Speeches were made at the events.

The chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway praised President Kim Il Sung as a great revolutionary and peerless patriot who led the Korean revolution to victory and devoted his whole life to the country and people under the uplifted banner of Juche.

The chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association said that President Kim Il Sung clearly indicated the path to be followed by progressive mankind aspiring after independence against imperialism and actively helped the peoples of many countries in their struggle for national liberation from colonial rule. The President’s exploits for accomplishing the cause of global independence are being conveyed throughout generations, the chairman added.

The chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association praised the President’s exploits for national liberation, war victory and the founding of the Party, nation and army, and praised him as a peerlessly great man and outstanding state leader recognized by the world.

The chairman of the Iceland-DPRK Friendship Association said that Comrade Kim Il Sung, the greatest man and peerless statesman in the ２０th century, devoted his whole life to the victorious advance of the Korean revolution and the world revolution, adding that his noble revolutionary spirit, exploits and legacy have been successfully carried forward by Comrade Kim Jong Il and Comrade Kim Jong Un. He expressed belief that the Korean people would more dynamically advance along the road of independence and socialism, rallied close around their leader.
