Fertile Land

After sharing greetings with the commanding officers of a military unit wrapped in great emotions, the respected Comrade General Secretary enjoyed a bird’s-eye view of the airport stretching far away with a broad smile on his face.
Pointing at the boundless expanse of the airport, he said full of pleasure that it was truly a fertile land.
The commanding officers of military unit were bewildered, not understanding his sudden words.
Looking round the officials, the respected Comrade General Secretary said that he visited the airport to build a vegetable greenhouse for people in North Hamgyong Province rather than to assign a task to them.
They were greatly astonished as they did not bargain for that.
The respected Comrade General Secretary made an important decision to turn the military airfield into a greenhouse farm in order to solve the vegetable problem for the people.
Wearing a broad smile as if he were visualizing the future of the Jungphyong area to be transformed into the sea of greenhouses filled with fragrance of fresh vegetables before long, the respected Comrade General Secretary reiterated with pleasure that it was really a wonderful fertile land.
After a while, pointing at the banks and seashore sand dike in front of him, he taught to make roads there and build a vegetable greenhouse farm of one hundred hectares.
He continued that such area of the greenhouse will be enough to fully meet the needs of the people in the province.
Then he expressed great satisfaction, saying he was very pleased that day as he did another good thing for the people and that he is most pleased when he does a worthy thing for the people one by one.
It was, indeed, the pride and worth which can be cherished only by the respected Comrade General Secretary who devotes all to the promotion of people’s wellbeing.
An official told the respected Comrade General Secretary that it would benefit people to build the vegetable greenhouse farm there as the area was subject to northern oceanic climate and thus got often fogged and suffered damage from cold weather.
The respected Comrade General Secretary was looking at the vast section of the airport while listening to the official. Then he said with satisfaction that he did lots of good things for people but it was the first time to build such a gigantic and large-scale greenhouse farm in our country.
When he again visited the area in August that year, he called upon the officials to turn the area into the golden land where people’s happiness is brought into full bloom so as to let the song "We Are the Happiest in the World" resound through North Hamgyong Province, saying that if we built a vegetable greenhouse farm for people in North Hamgyong Province in such vast and fertile land, President
Indeed, the affectionate call "fertile land" reiterated by the respected Comrade General Secretary reflects his devotion and love for people.
