Conspicuous Scene
Our Maekjon Store has a conspicuous evening scene which catches the people’s eyes.
It is the appearance of residents on their way back home from work as well as the old folks in the township area who drop in at our store and spend a nice time, drinking beer made at the county foodstuff factory.
On holidays and Sundays, more people visit the store and sometimes there are too many customers to serve.
We now have patrons, too, and the store is getting more and more crowded with each passing day.
Drinking refreshing beer, people unanimously say with joy that Kangdong County has surely changed and their life has become affluent thanks to the Party’s care.
Such a scene sets me deep in thought.
We never dreamt of this life before modern regional-industry factories were built in our region.
The scenes which we thought to be seen only in urban streets are witnessed in our place.
All the people say their life in the future will be even better.

Our factory is located in the northern end of the country.
Lots of people have visited our area since new regional-industry factories were built here.
Every visitor hopes such fancy factories will be built soon in their regions, full of envy.
Looking at them, I feel a lump in the throat out of gratitude toward the respected Comrade General Secretary.
Also great is the interest of the residents in the county.
They take an active part in the production activities of regional-industry factories with a desire to turn out high-quality goods representative of our area which will win fame across the country.
They believe that it is the very way to repay the Party’s benevolence, implement the Party’s policies and make their region rich.
Thanks to the efforts of the employees of the factory and residents, the variety of the goods of the factory has increased by over thirty kinds as compared with the early days of operation and the goods of our county’s making won public favor at the recent national exhibition.
