His Visit during Hours of Medical Service
One day in March ２０１４, the respected Comrade General Secretary
The moment he appeared in the hospital, doctors, nurses and patients shouted hurrah for him at the top of their voices in great excitement.
After acknowledging their enthusiastic cheers, the respected Comrade General Secretary kindly told the officials of the hospital he had come to learn about the medical services and management and operation of the hospital.
He stressed the need for the hospital to actively contribute to the promotion of the people’s health and that the hospital, which was presented to the people by the Party, should not serve the purpose of advertisement but the people.
A moment later, he looked round the hospital to watch doctors treat the patients and gladly said that the hospital seemed to be managed and run properly as there were many patients there.
Having looked at the patients under treatment for a while, the respected Comrade General Secretary noted that he was so pleased to see lots of patients have their teeth treated at the hospital and that it was obvious that medical service activities at the hospital were on a high tide.
The officials felt a lump in the throat, looking up to the respected Comrade General Secretary wrapped in great satisfaction.
Indeed, he, who saw that the wonderful dental hospital provided to the people actually helped toward promoting the people’s health, is the most benevolent father of the people.
A Day as Happy as Holiday
One day in August ２０２４, the respected Comrade General Secretary paid a congratulatory visit to the helicopter unit of the Air Force of the Korean People’s Army which rendered distinguished services in saving the flood victims in the inundated area of North Phyongan Province.
Full of excitement, the service personnel of the Air Force looked up to the respected Comrade General Secretary.
That day, he made a passionate speech of encouragement in front of the officers and men of the unit.
At the beginning of his speech, he said: I wanted to proudly boast about the pilots of the helicopter unit who performed matchless feats in protecting our God-like people without an equal in the world, and out of this desire I have come to the unit on the way back from the site of repairing the flood damage.
He continued that, though it was not a national holiday that day, he went there as delightfully as on a holiday, thinking he was to publicly acknowledge the brave service personnel of the Air Force.
The officers and men were so impressed by the great trust the respected Comrade General Secretary repeatedly bestowed on them.
He felt as delightful as on a holiday, so glad that all the people he regards as his own flesh and blood were saved without exception and so pleased to do honor to the pilots who performed such feats.
To the respected Comrade General Secretary who holds up the people so high, it was a day as happy as a holiday.
