National Children’s Taekwon-Do Championship Held

A national children’s Taekwon-Do championship was held in Haeju City, South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK, from July １５ to ２３.

The championship brought together more than ４００ players (students) selected from Taekwon-Do schools under the Ryongaksan Taekwon-Do Team and provincial Taekwon-Do teams, Korea University of Physical Education and Nampho University of Physical Education. The players competed in pattern, sparring, forte matches.

Taekwon-Do School under the Kangwon Provincial Taekwon-Do Team came first in total standings at the championship.

Cups, medals and diplomas were awarded to the organizations and players that proved successful at the events.
