Love of Mother Taking Care of Numberless Children
Our Party is a motherly one which embraces all the people in the country, reads through their innermost wishes and brings all their happiness into full bloom.

Better still, he took benevolent measures so that other families like those of teachers and nurses living in the coal-mine villages can enjoy the same civilization and happiness.
It is the unchangeable will of our Party that there should be no discrimination between people feeling happy and people feeling envy in our country and that our Party’s policies should be thoroughly for the people favored by everyone.
The past １０-odd years in which the country underwent a face-lift were the years of excitement which let all the people keenly experience the benevolence of our Party which embraces everyone in its warm bosom and puts them forward as enjoyers of all good luck.
In October six years ago, the respected Comrade General Secretary inspected the rehabilitation site of Komdok area in South Hamgyong Province.
While giving instructions as to rehabilitation in the area of Ryongyang Mine, he caught the sight of single-storied houses cramped on the hill slope and taught that he was going to build new houses for all the families of the Komdok Mining Complex, the Ryongyang Mine and the Taehung Youth Hero Mine, referring to the fact that it was said that those living in old houses feel so envious of the flood victims as they were going to live in the newly-built low-storied houses.
It was truly a measure which could be taken only by the respected Comrade General Secretary who reads through the inner thoughts of the people and finds pleasure of making revolution in undertaking more jobs for the good of the people of his own accord.
In the period when Samjiyon City was undergoing a great transformation to herald the new era of regional change, he already unfolded a far-reaching plan to turn all the cities, counties and farms into rich and developed ones where modern civilization effloresces.
Thanks to his intention, the construction of modern rural dwellings for farmers was propelled nonstop along with the large-scale housing construction for citizens in the capital city.
In the wake of the torch of new regional industry revolution lit in Kimhwa County, he set forth the Regional Development ２０×１０ Policy to let the regional people enjoy life as good as that of capital citizens.
His guidance brought about a proud reality in which modern regional-industry factories are built in twenty cities and counties every year.
This is not all.
He wonderfully built the Sinpho City Offshore Farm as a model of aquaculture in the new century and presented them to the people in Sinpho City.
He also built another marvelous fishing village no one has ever witnessed in Ragwon County.
He built large-scale greenhouse farms in Jungphyong area of North Hamgyong Province, Ryonpho area of South Hamgyong Province, Kangdong area of Pyongyang Municipality and the area of Wihwa Island in North Phyongan Province one after another.
All these reflect his strong aspiration for letting everyone in this country lead an equally happy life to their heart’s content.
These were not achieved in ordinary days.
All these exciting events which were born in the face of the hostile forces’ moves becoming ever more undisguised and lots of sudden threats were brought about by the unshakable will of the respected Comrade General Secretary that all the people should enjoy happiness equally under the popular policies of the Party and the state.
That’s why he solemnly clarified his will to totally transform all the coal-mine villages in the country at the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee held last June.
Our respected Comrade General Secretary formulates new policies for the people, cherishing the immovable creed of regarding the people’s trust in the Party as the most precious wealth and the holiest thing and the unyielding will to live up to their trust by making selfless, devoted efforts for them.
Considering the desires of farmers at out-of-the-way mountain farms, disaster-stricken people and even the parentless children, he made grand plans like the rural revolution programme in the new era, the Regional Development ２０×１０ Policy and the policy on upbringing of children and then unfolded another gigantic operation for all the people living in coal-mine villages, not just colliers.
As there is the respected Comrade General Secretary, our Party’s policies reflecting all the people’s dreams and ideals will be translated into reality at an early date.
The single voice of hurrah for the Workers’ Party and socialism from all the people will ring out endlessly throughout the world.
