He added:
It is true that our country’s fish farming sector has made much progress in recent years but lots of issues are still there to be solved.
The most important problem is to realize the optimization of fish farming.
Economic profitability can be ensured only when lots of fishes are produced in a small area with little water and few fodders.
After a pause, he underlined the importance of holding up the banner of scientific fish farming in realizing the optimization of fish farming and emphasized that the way to developing fish farming and reserve for production growth lie in solving all the problems arising in rearing fish thoroughly relying on science and technology, noting that the fish farming sector, like other sectors, should hold fast to science and technology as the seed.
His instruction bore the noble meaning that giving definite precedence to science and technology constitutes the reserve for production growth and the way for gaining the greatest profits with which to help the people’s living and give them delight.
That day, the officials hardened their conviction that they can prove successful in fish farming despite any impossibilities, too, when they adhere to science and technology.
Attaching Importance to Operation of Sci-tech Learning Space
In November ２０１８, the respected Comrade General Secretary inspected a regional factory.
The products the workers of the factory made by introducing new technologies and conducting a vigorous technical innovation movement were flawless.
That day, the respected Comrade General Secretary referred to the rapid change the world is undergoing and requested the factory to concentrate efforts on modernization of its overall production lines and product inspection lines and the introduction of new technologies to turn out better products, without resting on its laurels.
Then he noted that the sci-tech learning space should be a place the workers effectively use to acquire special knowledge suitable for their occupational categories and raise their sci-tech knowledge levels.

One cannot make progress without knowing science and technology today, the era of science and technology.
When everyone is well versed in modern science and technology and does all the work in a scientific manner, greater achievements can be made and the country develop at a faster speed.
That’s why the respected Comrade General Secretary highlights the need to arrange and run sci-tech learning spaces properly and let everyone regard them as an indispensable field school whenever opportunity arises.
He paid so much concern to training all the people into masters of science and technology directly in charge of sci-tech development through proper operation of the sci-tech learning space and gave earnest instructions as to the issue of its operation.
The sci-tech learning space should be a place effectively used for acquiring special knowledge and raising sci-tech knowledge level.
