On May ３１, the respected Comrade General Secretary visited the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm.
Beautiful indeed was the scenery of the area of Wihwa Island with the sea of greenhouses stretching out endlessly full of vegetables and the hundreds of hectares covered with rape flowers.
The respected Comrade General Secretary, who received the greetings of the senior officials of the province and farm officials, looked round hydroponic and soil greenhouses of different styles and experimental cultivation greenhouses to learn in detail about the production, vegetable science research and management of the farm.
That day, feasting his eyes on the spectacular view of the large picturesque farm town, he said with a broad smile on his face that the area around the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm was truly marvelous.
Presently, he recalled with deep emotion looking at the pictures of grass, rape and trees planted in the area of the Wihwa Island, wondering if it was really the place which used to be so vulnerable to flood.
The manager of the farm proudly reported to him that hundreds of tons of various vegetables are harvested every day to be regularly sent to baby homes, orphanages, primary schools for orphans and commercial service units and thereby contribute to the improvement of the regional people’s dietary life.
The respected Comrade General Secretary was so glad to hear that.
Then, the official unreservedly boasted that all the greenhouses of the farm were stocked with too many vegetables to timely dispose of them.
The respected Comrade General Secretary said with an open laugh that it was truly a happy cause of anxiety.
This happy cause of anxiety was a phrase which is possible only in the lofty revolutionary world of the respected Comrade General Secretary who regards the efforts for the people as his pleasure and the greatest glory and the precious result brought about by the painstaking devotion and efforts of him who makes a flower bloom even on a rock for the sake of the people.
