Keeping in Mind Indomitable Revolutionary Spirit of Anti-Japanese Fighters

The workers of North Hwanghae Province harden their resolve to carry on the march of our revolution which started on Mt Paektu, seeing the slogans written on barked trees preserved at the provincial revolutionary museum.

What was kept deep in the hearts of the fighters in the days of the arduous and severe anti-Japanese war?

It was endless loyalty to the leader.

Steadfast yet lofty are the indomitable will and spirit of the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters who remained boundlessly faithful to the ideology and leadership of the leader and went through fire and water and braved all the difficulties and ordeals unyieldingly if it was what the revolution demanded.

Reflected in the slogans is the ennobling spirit of ardent fighters who united under the red flag with a determination to dedicate themselves to the battle for restoring the country in the dark days when the country’s destiny was at stake, the victors who created the spirit of defending the leader to the death and the indomitable fighting spirit and fought to the end against the enemies.

As they thought they would desire nothing more even if they fell in the sacred struggle for liberating the country, they tided over bitter trials and ordeals beyond imagination to put an end to the distress-torn history of our nation and write the history of a new country where the people are its masters.

The slogans teach how to live a worthwhile life.

The visitors’ hearts are full of determination to firmly arm themselves with the spirit of defending the leader unto death and devotedly implementing the Party’s policies and the spirit of self-reliance and fortitude and creditably carry out the fighting programmes set forth by the Party Central Committee.
