Giving Priority to Ensuring People’s Convenience

It is the policy consistently adhered to by our Party to ensure the interests and convenience of the people on a top priority basis in all undertakings and take responsibility for and look after the people’s living.

We still recollect with emotion the fact that the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un had a look at the trial bus products made by our working class in the courtyard of the office of the Party Central Committee in March five years ago.

Our working class completed the trial products of passenger buses and double-deckers in a short period true to the ennobling intention of the respected General Secretary who pays so much concern to the issue of providing the citizens with convenient traffic, highlighting it whenever opportunity arises.

Upon receiving the report of their achievements, the respected General Secretary called the trial buses to the office of the Party Central Committee, though he was so busy with all the state affairs.

That day, he had a look at the passenger bus and then the double-decker.

The respected General Secretary boarded the double-decker and looked round the inside of the first floor of the bus.

Then he unreservedly sat on the passenger seat behind the driver’s seat to learn about the height of the first and second floors.

When he asked whether it was not high enough in the upper floor, an official answered that its height was adjusted as was taught by the respected General Secretary.

As a matter of fact, he had already inspected and guided the design of the double-decker and instructed to properly adjust the height of the first and second floors of the bus.

However, the respected General Secretary still felt uneasy and looked up at the upper floor, standing on the stairs to the second floor.

He then noted that the height of the upper floor did seem low and told the officials to go and try standing there, saying tall passengers would find it hard to stand upright there, to say nothing more of sportspeople.

Presently, the respected General Secretary said he attached great importance to the traffic in Pyongyang Municipality and all the necessary investments should be made and the best option should be chosen as the solution of the passenger transport problem in the capital city is an important undertaking.

Though wealth for the people is on a steady increase thanks to his noble love, the respected General Secretary spends days making devotions for the people, unfolding grand plans one after another, in order to provide them with the happiest life with nothing to envy in the world.

People’s happiness and delight are coming into full bloom under the boundless love and benevolence of the respected General Secretary who devotes his all to the promotion of the people’s wellbeing, giving top priority to the people’s interests and convenience and regarding them as absolute.
