Our country has the unity of all the people banded in patriotism as the cornerstone of victory and prosperity.

Our country’s might and prestige admired by the world is an eruption of the great unity and the clear manifestation of the inexhaustible spiritual strength awakened and motivated by patriotism.

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, in his historic speech during the visit to the Party Founding Museum last October, noted that in view of our ideals and objectives, we should innovate at a much faster pace than now and that we should adopt a bolder approach and make redoubled, devoted efforts to transform all realms, all sectors and all regions in a decade.

Then he taught that the extraordinary political awareness and strenuous exertion of all the people, who have achieved unity on the strength of patriotism and turned all out in this endeavor, constitute the greatest of our capabilities, the most definite of our advantages and the highest of our potentials.

This instruction constitutes the answer to the question of what drives our socialist cause so vigorously, what is the source of our country’s inexhaustible power and how is it surely guaranteed.

In the course of struggle of pioneering and changes for the overall state development, our Party put forth the slogan "Let Us Unite with Patriotism!" and stirred up the whole country.

For the past five years when the patriotic zeal of all the people was remarkably enhanced, it became a trend of the times to volunteer to work at major theaters of socialist construction and in difficult and labor-consuming sectors true to the Party’s intention.

Everyone worked by the sweat of their brows to spruce up their home villages, valuing their workplaces.

The strong current of all-people patriotism gave birth, in spite of extreme difficulties which others would barely endure even for a single day, to the great golden age of construction and the proud realities of the new rural revolution and the new era of regional development and the substantial changes and successes felt close and personal by the people.

The great strength resulted by the patriotic loyalty of awakened and motivated citizens finds its expression in the incessant innovations wrought by the workers at the Sangwon Cement Complex, the fresh records renewed by the patriotic colliers of Chonsong, and the marked production growth brought about by numerous units in the overall national economic sectors.

Indeed, the extraordinary political awareness and strenuous exertion of all the people, who have achieved unity on the strength of patriotism and turned all out in this endeavor, constitute the greatest of our capabilities, the most definite of our advantages and the highest of our potentials.

Incomparably strong is the political and ideological might displayed by the extraordinary awareness and strenuous exertion of our people who united and rose up with patriotism and ever-victorious is the cause of our Party which has such an inexhaustible might as its inherent reserve force.

When everyone turns out in the patriotic struggle with great political consciousness and determination and the strong flames of patriotism flare up high everywhere in our country, our strongest power, most certain superiority and reserve force will be given fuller scope and the bright future of the comprehensive state development will be brought earlier.
