Today our country has greeted the period of overall development of socialist construction when the civilization of the capital city transforms the regions, the transformation of the regions gives a spur to the development of the capital city, and all the regions, sectors and units across the country make progress in a competitive, balanced and simultaneous way.
Such huge changes can be realized not by words, but in our streets, villages and worksites, through our daily life and from the bright looks of people.
When we steadily establish new standards and execute them with undying perseverance and enthusiasm, new records are made one after another and the revolution dynamically advances.
That’s why our Party gave officials a stern warning against their work attitude of doing everything in an unscientific and slipshod way and without a clear standard and leads them to create a proper standard and steadily update them whatever they plan and implement and to exert strenuous efforts to attaining the higher objectives.
Our course of struggle in which we dynamically advanced, creating new standard and record one after another under the wise leadership of the Party, makes us filled with emotion.
The Party’s regional development policy, the gigantic revolution unprecedented since the founding of our country, has confidently switched over from satisfying the basic demands of the people for their living on a nationwide scale to bringing about a sure change in just a few years.
Today, three years after the adoption of the regional development policy, we are just ahead of the reality in which one third of all cities and counties across the country will undergo transformations, and witness with our own eyes the entities of not only modern regional-industry factories but also leisure complexes and ideal regional hospitals that have never been conceived of at the beginning of regional construction.
In the proud course of creating new standards and new records, the entities showing the brilliant development of offshore farming and large-scale greenhouse farms where vegetable production is put on a more advanced intelligent and intensive footing presented their appearances one after another.
Today’s stirring reality is unthinkable apart from the wise leadership of the respected General Secretary
