He proposed glorifying the feats of our young people along with the name of youth after Samjiyon City has been face-lifted.
Then he warmly instructed that if the young people were informed of the fact that he entrusted the task of building Samjiyon City to them, they would turn out as one in the construction.
Receiving the instruction reflective of his boundless trust in our youth, the commanding officers became wrapped in great emotions.
Splendidly building Samjiyon City is their noble moral obligation as a citizen of the country and, at the same time, their due duty. However, the respected General Secretary assigned the task of building Samjiyon City to our young people and intended to glorify their feats with the name of youth.
Indeed, his trust serves as a motive force giving inexhaustible strength for working miracles to our young people and nutriment of their life.
High Appraisal
One September day in ２０１５, the respected General Secretary enjoyed a performance given by the art squad of the Central Committee of the youth league on the occasion of the ６７th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
Highly estimating the performance, he said that it was pervaded with the spirit of the era as it dealt with all what he wanted to say to the youth and it was the most splendid performance he has ever watched till then.
The officials were moved by the underserved praise of his as they didn’t think that the performance would rejoice the respected General Secretary so much.
As a matter of fact, the seed of works were taught by the respected General Secretary.
The respected General Secretary stressed the need to strengthen the ideological work for firmly preparing the young people as the successors to the revolution whenever opportunity arose and gave detailed instructions as regards its content, form and method.
Despite his devoted efforts, the respected General Secretary attributed all the successes to the creators and members of the art squad.
The respected General Secretary said to those full of emotion that the art squad should, in the future, too, dynamically conduct performing activities in conformity with the characteristics of young people who are responsive to all that is new and enterprising, thus making them accept the Party’s lines and policies in time and faithfully uphold the idea and leadership of the Party.
