His love and trust reflected his eagerness to have the young people be seated in golden cushions and the importance he attached to the celebrations of the Youth Day.
This was not all for the deep love of the respected General Secretary who cares the most for the young people.

Meaningful Souvenir Photo Taken on May Day
On May Day four years ago, our young people as well as the working people across the country were full of endless excitement and delight.
The respected General Secretary had a photo session with the university students and young workers in Pyongyang who contributed to successfully ensuring the parade celebrating the ９０th anniversary of the founding of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army.
The young people, who reached the height of glory and happiness to be remembered for all their lives before the excitement of the day when they participated in the greatest-ever political and military festival to fully demonstrate the dignity of our country and the might of the great single-minded unity cooled down, were full of indescribable passion.
That day, he said that the young people were in such high spirits and that the rosy future of our style of socialism belongs to young people and has to be brought earlier by the young people themselves.
Warmly encouraging them, he had a photo taken with all of them.
He was so proud of the young people who were adorning the precious youthful days with high enthusiasm and fighting zeal that he conveyed great trust on the young people on the working people’s holiday.
To him, it was the greatest happiness to be with the young people.
Touching Scene Witnessed in Wihwa Island
On January ２ this year, the respected General Secretary visited the northwestern border area of the country by his personal train though he had so many places to visit with the beginning of the new year.
He went there to mark the beginning of ２０２６ with the young builders who greeted the new year in the windy area of Wihwa Island as soon as the event in the capital city was over.
The young people in the island broke into stormy cheers when he made a meaningful speech after holding the young builders by their rough hands unreservedly.
They burst into tears of emotion at his speech full of warm love and appreciation.
When he, who visited them as the first field guidance of the meaningful year and bestowed great trust on them, assuring himself of the succession of our-style socialism from the growth of young people, suggested raising a cheer in reflection of infinite respect and love for mother Korea with a youthful vigor, the young pioneers felt with all their hearts that they are the happiest youth in the world as they are kept dearest in the heart of the great father and that the creations of the country’s prosperity shining with the name of the heroic youth will shed eternal brilliance.
Indeed, the touching scene unfolded in the Wihwa Island at the beginning of this year was the most beautiful memory to be handed down through generations and an immortal picture showcasing the source of great strength possessed by our young people.
