Only Right Road--Road of Socialism
With the approaching of the founding anniversary of the DPRK, our people recollect the golden saying made by the respected General Secretary
In September last year, the respected General Secretary in his speech on the occasion of the ７７th founding anniversary of the DPRK said that at this moment, when our glorious and worthwhile struggle of immortal significance has brought into reality in history the high ambition that with force of unity fostered by the truth we will lead the whole world by and by, there is an iron truth that we cherish deep in our hearts, and the truth is that socialism we chose is the one and only right road.
His words carry the deep meaning that as a symbol of this great and beautiful Korea, socialism is the cornerstone and inexhaustible dynamic power guaranteeing the eternal existence of our Republic and its infinite development and prosperity and it was on the strength of the justice and truth embodied in socialism that we have won all the glory we are enjoying today; having established a powerful political system and built a great national strength, we will not allow the destiny of our country to be left to any foreign forces’ devices.
Socialism is common ideal of mankind and it is the law of historical development that people go to socialism.
Socialism has eternal viability for its scientific accuracy and truthfulness and popular masses’ independent demand and ideal can be truly realized only in socialist society.
Our Party has upheld the socialist ideal put forward by the Down-with-Imperialism Union since its founding and built a socialist state by indomitable struggle. It has the longest history as a socialist ruling party by leading the revolution along the road of socialism.
Our Party upheld the red flag of socialism when the world socialist movement faced frustration and anti-socialism trend flooded the world and steadily struggled along the road for complete victory of socialism to strengthen the might of the country, prove that socialism is justice and its victory is inevitable and give mankind confidence in socialism.
Today’s struggle overcoming all difficulties of history is shining as good model while highlighting the scientific accuracy and truthfulness of socialist ideal.
Unity of all the people in ideology and purpose, morality and obligation centred on the leader is further strengthened and collectivist spirit has been developed into beautiful traits of the country overcoming hardships together with the Party and State. So, the political and ideological might of our style socialism has become invincible strength.
People’s ideal streets and modern rural houses, modern production bases and leisure facilities have been built across the country.
The world people look up with a new eye to our country and people winning victory after victory while defending and glorifying socialist ideal and its truthfulness in the worst ordeals in which others might have collapsed a hundred times.
This is the proud fruition brought by the energetic leadership of our Party.
The respected General Secretary in his speech on the occasion of the ７７th founding anniversary of the DPRK earnestly called upon all our people to hold higher the banner of socialism and advance vigorously along the road of socialism for the undying glory of our Korea and for our coming generations who should lead an enduring dignified and happy life in the powerful and prosperous country.
At the fourth enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the Ninth Party Central Committee the respected General Secretary noted that the goals of transformations set forth by the Ninth Party Central Committee are not merely the numbers in practical plans but important political tasks for preserving the dignity of the country and proving the superiority of the social system and clearly indicated the ways for successful conclusion of this year’s struggle.
Our Party will, in the future, too, lead our people to the only right road of socialism and build on this land a thriving socialist country where the national strength is great, everything prospers and the people live without envying anything in the world.
