Personally Giving an E-library a Name

The following happened when the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un was inspecting Changsong County.

He learnt if the county had an e-library and taught that it is the urgent requirement of the times to let all the people acquire modern science and technology.

The officials were lost in thought.

Indeed, it was his unchangeable creed and ambitious goal to make all the people well-versed in science and technology.

That day, he stressed the need to lay out educational bases well in order to equip all the people with modern science and technology and instructed that the e-libraries in the counties can be called the Mirae(Future) Sci-Tech Complex.

This call reflected the far-reaching ideal and immovable faith of the respected General Secretary to bring earlier a brighter future of the country by making all the people well-versed in science and technology as soon as possible.

That day, he gave detailed instructions as to forming a computer network connecting the capital city and provinces, provinces and counties and establishing data service systems and as to setting a county as a model in this undertaking.

Thanks to such attentive guidance, the Mirae Sci-Tech Complex, an important base to play a big role in making the people well-versed in science and technology, was built proudly.

Be Creators and Pioneers of New Technology

Once, the respected General Secretary visited a factory.

Looking round the factory, he learnt about its production and noted that the factory’s achievements in production was attributable to the fact that it gives precedence to science and technology over production and solves all the problems by dint of science and technology, expressing satisfaction at the climate of attaching importance to science and technology prevailing in the factory.

The officials felt embarrassed at his high appreciation they barely deserved.

That day, the respected General Secretary learnt that the employees of the factory were making great achievements in developing new products by actively introducing latest science and technology.

Then, he taught that they should develop on their own what is not in the existing technical literature from the Juche-based standpoint with an ambitious courage that they will make what no others dare make.

That day, he expressed conviction that everyone of the factory would become creators and pioneers of new technology and thus perform miracles and feats.

The officials made up their minds to discharge their responsibilities and duties in effecting a ceaseless leap forward and innovation in revolution and construction by training all the workers into sci-tech talents and master-hands at creation.
