Touching Story Conveyed by 15th National Conference of Teachers
The １５th National Conference of Teachers was held at a historic time when the educational revolution for turning our state into the most advanced country in education across the world has been intensified at a new high stage under the original idea of the Workers’ Party of Korea on attaching importance to education and under its wise guidance.
The meaningful meeting clearly verified the truth of history that the honor of revolutionary teachers shines endlessly under the care of the peerlessly great man.
Still ringing in our hearts is the word of the respected General Secretary
He also noted that it is an unquestionable fact and our consistent principle that the education work is the most important state affair that cannot and should not lag behind the work of any other fields.
Indeed, our educators could proudly enter the venue of the glorious meeting with precious fruits dedicated to the country and achievements acknowledged by the people as there was the energetic and attentive guidance of the respected General Secretary who announced it as the general goal of education to make our education the one which can be fully entrusted with our future and clarified the principles and ways for carrying out the education revolution.
However, few knows how the conference became etched in the history as a grand meeting symbolic of a new heyday of development of Juche-oriented education.
It was in March last, when all the country was taking a greater stride forward to a higher development stage of socialist construction as indicated by the historic Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
The respected General Secretary, though he was so busy taking care of all the state affairs, took benevolent measures to convene the national conference of teachers with a grand plan to raise the education revolution in the new era on a new high.
The officials were touched by the efforts of the respected General Secretary who set up a clear milestone for developing education at the historic Party congress and cared so much for its implementation.
The respected General Secretary, who saw that the １５th National Conference of Teachers, the first sectoral meeting since the Party congress, was held, gave detailed guidance as to the purpose, scale and schedules of the conference so that it could analyze and review the overall education work in the past and discuss practical issues for achieving a new qualitative development of education.
He took repeated measures for making preparations for the conference and made sure that the social atmosphere was revved up by holding significant exhibition of educational experimental apparatuses, teaching aids and educational aid programs and an exhibition of donated educational equipment on a nationwide scale.
He paid special attention to the whole course of the preparations for the conference and attended the opening meeting to extend the warmest reverence and gratitude to all the educators with a meaningful speech full of kindred feelings.
The audience overflowed with great excitement of the participants when the respected General Secretary declared the ideal and will of our Party to make ours the best education that everyone is envious of and wants to get, the world-class education that dynamically leads the effort for achieving the prosperity of the country and expressed firm trust in all the educators, the designers and builders of the mainstay of the state and the revolution and the motive force of the educational revolution.
Also touching was the scene witnessed at the venue of the meaningful photo session.
The enthusiastic cheers which shook the venue of the photo session was an outburst of all the educators’ endless reverence for and gratitude toward the benevolent father and an undying scene showcasing the blood ties formed between the leader and the educators.
When the participants were spending unforgettable days of the conference thanks to the warm love of the great father, the respected General Secretary cared so much as if he felt the love bestowed on the educators inadequate.
After learning about the progress of the conference, the respected General Secretary took measures to let the participants in the conference take part in the celebrations of the ７８th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
Then he took care of the issues arising in changing the conference schedule.
Our respected General secretary wanted to put the educators forward, placing firm trust in them who uphold the Party’s policy on education revolution with high abilities and pure conscience and devote the love, which should be shown to their beloved children, families, parents and siblings, to their students, to cultivate the growth of the posterity of the precious country.
Indeed, it was the passionate sincerity of our father to spare nothing for the educators, devoting their all to teaching the students single-heartedly with endless loyalty to the Party and great love for the rising generation.
So many countries as there are in the world, only our country puts education forward as the most important of all the state affairs.
So many teachers as there are in the world, only teachers in our country are called as committed revolutionaries and patriots.
