Our socialist country has brought about miraculous changes, firmly defending and bringing into full bloom the dignity and happiness of the people in the extreme hardship.
It is the main index marking a state’s character what political ideal it puts forward and what policies it exercises.
A country of the people, a world for the people!
This is not a call given by the passage of time or by nature.
This call, ringing out from the hearts of our people, is an outcome of the immortal leadership and noble devotion of the respected General Secretary
We warmly recollect the word of the respected General Secretary who proudly said, while looking round the construction site of １０ ０００ flats in the Songsin and Songhwa areas nearing completion, that our Party, our country and our world is a party of the people, a country of the people and a world for the people and that all the policies formulated by our Party are for the people.
His word from that day reflects the ennobling outlook on the people, on the life and on the future cherished by the benevolent father.
The dazzling reality of our country which was brought about by our Party is not by any means for the sake of any incomes or economic profits.
To our Party and State, it is the only fighting goal and the most precious result to realize the people’s dreams and ideals and ensure the happy laughter of the people.
That’s why the masters of all the changes witnessed on this land are none other than ordinary people and the greatest beneficiaries of our Party’s policies are the working people.
We can take the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm for instance.
At the emergency enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee held in the afflicted area of Sinuiju City, the respected General Secretary affirmed his will to build modern rural residential districts anew in the flood-afflicted area, not just repairing the old ones.
His ardent sincerity of never allowing calculation in putting the victims of the disaster on the meridian of happiness put an end to the frenzies of nature and gave birth to a permanent sea dike and a beautiful and civilized modern rural city.
After providing the people with a paradise where happy laughter reverberates, he started a new history of "treasure island" which will powerfully lead the economic development in the region and the improvement of the people’s living standards.

Dwelling houses which are built in cities, countryside, mountainous regions and remote island villages by the great efforts of the state are granted to the ordinary working people free of charge.
Under the benevolence of the Party and the State which established a policy on supplying the children across the country with nutritive foodstuffs at the state’s expense and defined it as a law to regularly provide all the children with dairy goods and other nutritive foodstuffs for free and with the best conditions for growth, all the children are daily supplied with nutritious milk products and the milk products are sent to the houses of those who are absent from kindergartens and nurseries.
It’s not all.
Thanks to the respected General Secretary, who put it forward as our Party’s policy and the eternal state policy to supply school uniforms entirely at the state’s expense and pressed on with its implementation, a huge sum of money was expended in producing school uniforms even in the days when the country was undergoing difficulties owing to the worldwide public health crisis.
It is an inconceivable thing to build modern light-industry factories, hospitals and leisure complexes in all cities and counties.
However, this undertaking progresses apace in a persevering manner under the lofty intention of the respected General Secretary who makes the impossible possible for the people.
As we have the respected General Secretary, splendid paradises for the people’s civilization and wellbeing have been built in the excellent locations of the country and people enjoy benefits from them to the full.
Thanks to him, homes of happiness and cradles of love where the aged and the parentless live resound with songs of happiness.
