Publishing Base Which Contributed to Country’s Agricultural Development
The Agricultural Publishing House marked its ８０th founding anniversary.
The publishing house, which brought out the first agricultural publications on the weak foundation in the difficult days of nation building, has been turned into a powerful base for propagating our Party’s agricultural policy and a comprehensive base for issuing agricultural publications.
The path it covered is a proud history in which it creditably discharged its mission and role as a publishing base for effectively rousing the officials and working people in the agricultural sector to the implementation of our Party’s agricultural policy, and proud annals in which it rendered noticeable contributions to the achievement of innovations in the agricultural front and the consolidation of the agricultural position.
After granting our farmers their centuries-old cherished desire for farming on their own farmlands after the country’s liberation, President
Consequently, magazine "Korean Agriculture", the first agricultural publication of new Korea, was founded on September ２５, １９４６.
The agricultural publications edited and published since then contributed actively to inspiring the farmers to solidify the success of the agrarian reform, widely conduct the movement for donating cereals out of patriotism and learn from the experience of high-yield farmers.
The President saw that the publishing house conducted publication activities without interruption as suited to the wartime conditions in the period of the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War.
He organized the then National Agricultural Publishing House in the period when the agricultural cooperation was being promoted after the war in order to ensure unity in publishing and editing publications on agriculture.
Endless indeed is the guidance of the President who wisely led the editing and publishing of magazines and books on agriculture throughout his sacred career, giving precious instructions on them.

The Chairman wisely led the publishing house to bring out a larger number of sci-tech publications conducive to the agricultural technological revolution, firmly holding fast to the Juche-oriented farming method.
His attentive guidance is associated with the measure that he took to newly name the title of magazine "Advanced Agriculture" and the fact that he personally had a look at the lecture plan concerning agricultural sector and added some touches to it.
The publishing house now is in its new heyday under the wise guidance of the respected General Secretary
The benevolent care of the respected General Secretary is imbued in the congratulatory letter of the Party Central Committee which was sent on its founding anniversary and equipment like computers and vehicles for news gathering.
The publishing house has made marked innovations and taken greater strides forward for the past １０-odd years.
Under the guidance of the respected General Secretary who took benevolent measures for republishing "Agricultural Newspaper", it reissued the newspaper after ２０-odd years.
It also launched the work for publishing in series the books conducive to adding luster to the undying exploits of the peerlessly great men for establishing the country’s irrigation system.
As it did for the past ８０ years, the Agricultural Publishing House will remain endlessly faithful to its mission and duty and carry on the proud course of development.
