Attaching Great Importance to Frontline-style Political Work
Once, the respected General Secretary
Looking at the soldier-builders who were pushing ahead with the foundation work in high spirits, the respected General Secretary acknowledged that they invented and applied lots of innovative construction methods with which to speed up the project in spite of difficult conditions by pooling creative wisdom and were promoting the project audaciously.
He warmly encouraged the soldiers who were engaged in the project in midwinter cold.
Knowing that the respected General Secretary was watching them working, the soldier-builders further cheered themselves up, raising shouts.
The respected General Secretary was so satisfied and taught the commanding officers of the unit to inform the soldiers of the fact that the Sci-Tech Complex was a major construction project which the Party promoted with firm determination and to wage an offensive frontline-style political campaign for giving free rein to their spiritual strength, thereby fully displaying the spirit of "At a Go!" created in the People’s Army once again.
Like this, he kindled the flame of an ideological campaign for giving full play to the mental strength of the soldier-builders, reading their fighting morale of going through fire and water to carry out the task assigned by the Party and the mental and moral superiority unique to our Army from their spirited looks.
Under the guidance of the respected General Secretary, the construction site on Ssuk Islet turned into a theater of ideology and faith where the mental strength of the soldier-builders was demonstrated to the full.
Ideology Decides Everything
One day in July ２０１８, the respected General Secretary gave a field guidance at the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory.
In spite of midsummer heat, he looked round different places of the factory.
He highly appreciated the achievements made by the factory and gave precious instructions as to the production and operation.
What he attached importance to was the issue of letting the employees exalt the honor of the standard-bearers of the times by intensifying ideological education among them and surmounting all hardships by dint of ideology and spirit.
That day, the respected General Secretary noted he felt so grateful to the women employees for applying themselves to the foodstuff production regardless of the sultry weather in order to carry out the Party’s foodstuff industry policy and regional industry policy.
Listening to him, the officials were so touched to think that he acknowledged the efforts of the employees to do their jobs in a responsible manner, not considering his own efforts of having attentively led Kangwon Province to advance in the van of the times.
What was most precious to him was the idea and spirit of the officials and employees of the factory who buckled down to the implementation of the Party policy in a determined manner.
That’s why the respected General Secretary taught that ideology decides everything and one’s ideology influences one’s personality and success or failure in work hinges on one’s determination.
He continued that the primary Party committee of the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory should intensify ideological education among women employees and train them into filial daughters of the Party.
Indeed, the course of the respected General Secretary’s field guidance is equal to a process of ideological work for giving full play to the mental strength of the officials, Party members and working people.
