The General Weaving Workshop of the Hamhung Woolen Mill always overfulfills its production assignments.

Not long ago, a production emulation among workteams started.

Workteam No. １ pressed ahead with production in high spirits, recording marked results from the first day.

Then, one day, they noticed that Workteam No. ３, their major rival, fell much behind them.

They realized that the workteam was in lack of skilled workers owing to an unexpected reason.

From the next day, the multi-loom operators of Workteam No. １ headed for Workshop No. ３ after carrying out their tasks.

Better still, Workteam No. ２ handed over tools they had secured with much effort.

Once, the workshop head saw Ri Myong Ho, a repairman of Workteam No. ３, burning the midnight oil at Workteam No.２.

When the workshop head urged Ri to return home because he had been helping the other workteam after work for several days.

Then, Ri replied that they are all in the same workshop and that he would return home with delight when all the machines of Workteam No. ２ are in full operation.

Like this, members of the workshop help and lead one another forward to make innovations and the workshop distinguishes itself as a group of innovators.

Devoting Sincerity for Over １０ Years

Not long ago, lots of people visited Kim Jom Sun, a war veteran living in Kyongsang-dong, Central District, to congratulate her on her birthday.

Among them was Kim Hyon Ok living in Neighborhood Unit No. ３６ of Ryonhwa-dong No.２ in Central District.

Kim Hyon Ok, who had worked with Kim Jom Sun’s husband in an art troupe when she was young, realized only later that the old couple were both war veterans.

She visited Kim Jom Sun at her house over １０ years ago and expressed pity for being so late.

Though Kim Jom Sun’s husband had passed away, she would become her daughter and take good care of her, Kim Hyon Ok promised.

Since then, she has prepared a birthday table for the war veteran every year and often visited the war veteran and taken good care of her life.

Once the war veteran told Kim Hyon Ok that she didn’t have to visit her so often because it was long ago that her husband passed away and she might be busy with her work.

Then, Kim Hyon Ok replied that war veterans were her teachers for ever.

Thus, the bond formed between her and the war veteran has been kept invariably until today.

That day, the war veteran realized the benevolence of the socialist system in our country, looking at the many people who were like the members of her family.
