Meaningful Lecture about Party Work
In July eight years ago, the respected General Secretary
One night the respected General Secretary summoned senior officials of the Party committees of Kyongsong and Orang counties.
Kindly offering seats he told them that the position and role of the county Party committees are important in implementing the Party policy and, in particular, the role of the then chairmen of the county Party committees is very important.
He continued that everything depends on their role and the senior officials of the county Party committees should sensitively accept the Party policies at every period and bravely plan the work and meticulously launch the work to carry out them to the last.
After a while, with great expectation he said the chairmen of the county Party committees are missions he dispatched and cores of our Party and they should become roots of the Party and genuine servants of people.
He taught them the important issues for the work of the county Party committees including the issue of directing efforts to strengthening the primary Party committees and the issue of closely uniting broad masses around the Party by making every primary official lead ten others and ten people do a hundred.
Then he clarified the qualifications Party officials should possess.
Party officials should learn modern science and technology to be passionate persons and lovers of learning and strive to possess broad knowledge, he said.
A little while ago, he earnestly said that it is important for officials to establish view of morality and officials should love people and respect junior ones and revolutionary forerunners.
The officials made up their minds to deeply aware of heavy mission and responsibility and radically renovate political and practical ability, spiritual and moral traits and working attitude and devote themselves to the work for people and development of their counties.
The respected General Secretaries stressed that the chairmen of the county Party committees should become perfect officials.
This was the request not only for the senior officials of Kyongsong and Orang counties but also all the chairmen of city and county Party committees across the country.
It was the precious instruction encouraging all the senior officials of city and county Party committees to work hard bearing in mind their noble mission as delegates of the Party Central Committee, roots of the Party and genuine servants of the people in the new era of regional development.
Like this, the respected General Secretary works heart and soul to train well the Party officials attaching most importance to making them fulfill their responsibility and duty in building our Party into the mother Party which took the root among the popular masses by strengthening the Party organizationally and ideologically.
The General Secretary at the first short course for chief secretaries of the city and county Party committees said that chief secretaries of the city and county Party committees are the hard core of our Party in charge of regional bases of the socialist construction and the field political workers who are shouldering the heavy responsibilities of taking care of people while living nearest to them.
He stressed that Party officials should be faithful to the mission and duty as leading personnel of the revolution, and genuine servants of the people whenever he met with Party officials during the days of his spot guidance.
Indeed, the respected General Secretary’s leadership of the revolution is the trace for strengthening our Party and significant course of leading our Party officials to successfully possess traits and qualifications as the standard-bearer in implementing Party policies and genuine servants of the people.
