"I Will Keep in Mind Honor of That Day to the End of My Life"

People say that I who is working in a workplace associated with my mother’s traces lead a worthwhile life. It is because I am a daughter of hero Kil Hwak Sil who is the forerunner of remoulding of people in the Chollima era.

Feeling the pride in working at a place where my mother had worked, I recall with emotion the glorious day when respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited our mill.

On January 7, 2017, the respected General Secretary visited our mill to look around newly-arranged quilt production processes and newly-built workers’ hostel despite the midwinter cold.

I choked with emotion when the respected General Secretary entered the quilt production site.

He went round different production processes, saying that the quilt production process was nice. He approached my cutting board.

An official told him that I was the daughter of Kil Hwak Sil.

He kindly shook hands with me and appreciated my labor.

Looking at me with a broad smile on his face, the respected General Secretary asked me to do my work well as my mother did.

His words full of love reflected his expectation that I would work as well as my mother who gave great pleasure to President Kim Il Sung by vigorously waging the struggle for increased production and the collective innovation movement under the slogan "One for all and all for one!" while leading other comrades who lagged behind, and the former generation of the mill who invariably glorified the honor of the Chollima movement pioneers under the love and trust of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

How delightful my mother who enjoyed a worthwhile life in the warm embrace of the President and the Chairman would have been if she had known about the honor the respected General Secretary bestowed on me.

That day he had a meaningful souvenir photo taken with us working at the quilt production site.

I still remember that day of excitement when we were honored to have the respected General Secretary in our workplace.

I will devote all myself to the society and collective like my mother who was the Chollima movement pioneer as requested by the respected General Secretary.

I will also fulfill my responsibility in the struggle for improving people’s living standards, keeping deep in mind that day’s honor.
