Shortcut to Building of Talent Power, Socialist Power
In January ２０１８, respected General Secretary
After looking at data on educational methods and technologies the college newly developed in front of the electronic board for a long time, the respected General Secretary commended the officials and teachers of the college on doing a lot of work.
He said that they cannot bring up talents without improving teaching content and method no matter how splendidly they spruced up the building of the college.
After a short while, he clarified the Party’s idea of attaching importance to teachers’ training, stating that teacher-training institutions are the "pedigree" establishment for the education of younger generation and that we can bring up able teachers urgently needed in training talents only when we nicely build and strengthen those institutions.
He continued that a shortcut to the building of a talent power, a socialist power lies in splendidly building teacher-training institutions and strengthening teachers’ training.
Listening to his instructions, the officials realized, though belatedly, why the respected General Secretary paid deep attention to the modernization of the college and visited it despite his busy schedule.
They made a firm determination to devote wisdom and passion to the gigantic work of turning our country into a talent power, a socialist power, true to the noble intention of the respected General Secretary.
For Wonderful Educational Conditions and Environment
In April ２０１９, the respected General Secretary gave field guidance at Samjiyon County (at that time) and visited a primary middle school in the county nearing completion.
Praising the builders for doing well the interior construction with utmost sincerity, he also dropped in at the IT study room on the second floor.
Computer desks were arranged in good order and all had computers on them.
Looking round the study room, he taught that the school should be equipped with not only computers but also other educational equipment and teaching tools including experimental equipment.
Then he warmly promised to send a complete set of educational equipment needed for the school.
Going round classrooms, the respected General Secretary personally tried chalking words on the blackboard and instructed to install something like standardized folding boards in the classrooms. Then he even made a sketch of it.
Thus, a primary middle school furnished with excellent educational environment was built in Samjiyon City, too.
Such touching stories that the respected General Secretary face-lifted the educational conditions and environment bring home to the officials that the investment in education means the training of talents and an important work firmly guaranteeing the country’s future.
