New History of Socialist Rural Construction
Endless Benevolence, Attentive Care
Story Conveyed by Cement Transport Ships
The respected Comrade General Secretary
He affirmed his will to turn all the farms in the country into rich and civilized socialist ideal ones on several occasions and took revolutionary measures for rural construction including the issues for preferentially supplying cement necessary for rural housing construction to all cities and counties and building cement depots in every city and county.
He also paid attention to regions with unfavorable conditions for cement transportation.
In February, 2024, he assigned a task to study about the transportation of cement to counties around Lake Suphung by ship.
Later, he took revolutionary measures for organizing a convoy of transport ships in order to timely transport cement for rural construction to counties around Lake Suphung.
He solved all the problems arising in building and running transport ships including the supply of necessary equipment, materials and funds, and even navigation equipment and marine stores.
Hence, cement transport ships came to navigate through Lake Suphung.
Though every country has remote regions and mountainous areas, there is no party in the world which makes it a policy and law to regularly supply cement for rural housing construction every year to all the cities and counties in the country and takes measures for supplying cement by modern transport ships even to mountainous areas with unfavorable transportation conditions.
Indeed, the route of cement transport ships on Lake Suphung is the route of love conveying the benevolence the motherly Party bestows upon the agricultural workers.
In Landscape of New Rural Villages
It is the lofty intention of the respected Comrade General Secretary to turn our farms into ideal villages comprised of modern cultural dwellings and beautiful landscape.
The peculiar landscape which harmonizes with modern rural houses is also closely associated with the sincerity of the respected Comrade General Secretary who is eager to provide our agricultural workers with civilized living conditions.
At the historic Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee when our Party’s new rural revolution programme was announced, the respected Comrade General Secretary expressed his firm will to build the rural villages to be impeccable without a parallel even in the distant future and to be advantageous in all aspects.
He underlined the need to plant fruit trees and other superior breeds of trees and land-creeping plants in places suitable for adding to the beauty of the villages, and stressed that if so, it would be of help to the living of farmers and add much to the scenery of farm villages.
Actually, the landscaping of rural villages was not on such a high level as intended by the respected Comrade General Secretary.
Thanks to him, who paid deep attention even to the creation of landscape around rural houses, peculiar landscapes appear in wonderful farm villages newly built across the country to give us a clear picture of tomorrow of the socialist ideal village to be more civilized and affluent.
All Farms in Country like Samgwang Livestock Farm
In February last, the respected Comrade General Secretary visited the Samgwang Livestock Farm, which was built as a model creation representative of the socialist countryside in the new era.
Enjoying the bird’s-eye view of the farm, the respected Comrade General Secretary said this is just the scenery of ideal socialist farm village.
He continued that we should renovate all the farms in the country in a modern way like the Samgwang Livestock Farm with a heavier sense of responsibility.
The eye-opening transformation of Samgwang-ri was unthinkable apart from the great efforts made by the respected Comrade General Secretary.
Since he set up the plan for building a superb livestock farm equipped with up-to-the-minute dairy goods production equipment in Samgwang-ri of Unjon County, he took great pains to make the farm achieve another peculiar development of the socialist countryside aspiring to advancement and modernity.
He took benevolent measures to secure the most superior of meat- and milk-producing cattle and even guided the trademark and brands to be put on the dairy products of the farm.
Indeed, the respected Comrade General Secretary regards the toils and moils he goes through as worthwhile and feels the greatest pride and delight whenever he witnesses monumental entities bartered for his efforts.
Thanks to the lofty ideal and endless devotion of the great father, our farms are being transformed into the best paradise which is civilized and prosperous.
