At the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, the visitors looked back upon the feats performed by the service personnel of the People’s Army who displayed matchless heroism and self-sacrificing spirit in the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War.
Officials, working people, school youth and children across the country visited families of war veterans and persons of wartime merits to congratulate the revolutionary forerunners on the holiday.
School youth and children met with war veterans in North Phyongan, South Hwanghae, North Hwanghae, North Hamgyong and Ryanggang provinces.
Colorful performances given in major places in Pyongyang and provinces revved up the festive atmosphere.
The desire and enthusiasm of the successors to usher in a new era of the overall national prosperity, preserving the precious ideological and spiritual wealth handed down by the victorious wartime generation, were manifested at the dancing parties held across the country.
Special services were given to war veterans and persons of wartime merits at public catering and welfare service establishments across the country, and the cultural recreation grounds were full of laughter of working people and schoolchildren enjoying the holiday.

Dancing parties of youth and students in Pyongyang took place on Monday, the 73rd anniversary of victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
