Our respected Comrade General Secretary
One day last September, the respected Comrade General Secretary inspected the Kusong City Hospital under construction.
That day, looking round the construction site, he emphasized that the public health revolution which is being carried on in parallel with the nationwide revolution in regional industry is the most urgent task which will give fresh vital power to our socialist public health, and that this work should be associated with absolute principle and the view on service of our state which subordinates and orients everything to the promotion of the people’s health and well-being.

The officials became wrapped in emotions.
In the mind of the respected Comrade General Secretary giving detailed instructions as to building the hospital into an ensemble of the latest medical technology and building techniques was a strong desire to let our people enjoy the benefits of the best public health system in the world as soon as possible.
That day, the respected Comrade General Secretary taught one by one the important issues arising in rounding off the hospital construction.
Looking up to him, the officials realized once again with what attitude they should approach hospital construction and with what viewpoint they should carry out the public health revolution.
Request Made at Ryonggang County Hospital
One day last December, the respected Comrade General Secretary attended the inauguration ceremony of the hospital and regional-industry factories in Ryonggang County of Nampho Municipality.
That day, he paid close attention to the issue related to the operation of the new hospital and service of medical workers.
The respected Comrade General Secretary who cut the inauguration tape, hoping that the county people would lead a happy life on their land of bliss, taught that making the hard-won precious creations serve as powerful engine for the development of socialist public health is a heavy and responsible revolution task whose fulfillment is as important as their construction.
Then he clarified important tasks for the operation and medical service of regional hospitals to be built in cities and counties across the country.
The officials were so touched by the attentive care of the respected Comrade General Secretary who, having presented a wonderful, flawless medical service base to the people in Ryonggang County, paid deep attention even to the service to be provided for the people.
He earnestly requested all the medical workers of the county hospital to fulfill their exclusive duty of being responsible for the health of the citizens with high level of medical service and sincere devotion, mindful of the Party’s intention of placing the lives and security of the people and promotion of their health above all else.
His earnest request reflected his warm sincerity of wishing the medical workers to treat the patients with kindness and take care of them with high abilities, true to the intention of the Party which attaches the greatest importance to the people’s life and health.
Indeed, his request made at the Ryonggang County Hospital serves as a precious nutriment doubling the warm sincerity of all the medical workers for the people.
