Fighter Who Joined Revolutionary Ranks Again under His Benevolence

It happened in April １９４３ when the members of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army (KPRA) were carrying out military and political training at a temporary base in the Far East.

One day, men of the KPRA were engaged in the work of cutting down trees for the building of barracks in obedience to the order of President Kim Il Sung.

All of a sudden, a stack of logs toppled over abruptly.

At that crucial juncture, Kim Chung Ryol saved his comrades by devoting his own body.

He fell unconscious as he was hit hard by bulky logs.

When the President was informed that Kim Chung Ryol passed out after saving the comrades, he personally went to the medical post where Kim was.

The President held Kim Chung Ryol by the wrist to count his pulse and repeatedly implored him not to die.

Saying that Kim went through numberless deadly crises since he had joined the guerrilla army with the sorrow over being parentless and got wounded by the enemies’ bullets many times, the President ardently called for saving Kim at any cost even by dedicating our own blood and flesh.

Even after he returned from the medical post, the President was constantly worried about Kim and the next day, he sent various medicaments he prepared in person with sincerity to Kim.

Thanks to the President’s profound solicitude, Kim finally recovered his senses after a week.

Upon receiving the report, the President again went to the medical post.

Greatly rejoiced to see Kim who came to his senses, the President expressed his joy, saying that he finally became able to have a comfortable sleep.

Though Kim was resuscitated by a miracle, his lower back got totally paralyzed.

It was just the President who felt anxious for him the most.

Thanks to the fervent love of the President who took every measure for the recovery of his lower back, Kim was completely cured of the disease and returned to the revolutionary rank.

Indeed, Kim could glorify his life in the struggle for the freedom and independence of the country and for strengthening and development of our revolutionary armed forces thanks to the attentive care of the President who injected vitality of life to him, valuing every revolutionary soldier.

This touching story conveys that the sacred Korean revolution was pioneered and has achieved brilliant victories thanks to the ardent love of the President.
