It has been seven months since the Samgwang Livestock Farm under the North Phyongan Provincial Rural Economy Committee was splendidly built as a comprehensive model of rural transformation.

In those days, the farm has achieved not a few successes demonstrating peculiar development of the socialist countryside and the people in Samgwang-ri have grown beyond recognition.

The photos of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un are displayed at the room for education in the revolutionary history which was newly arranged after the inauguration of the farm.

It was just the respected General Secretary who transformed Samgwang-ri which had nothing other than centuries-old rural backwardness into a socialist ideal village envied by the whole country.

The respected General Secretary who conceived a grand plan to build a modern standard livestock farm immaculate in all aspects and remarkably develop the country’s stockbreeding industry with it as a model set forth the construction of the Samgwang Livestock Farm as an important undertaking for creating a new starting point, innovative criterion, conducive to defining a future development orientation of our countryside and our livestock farming.

On the auspicious day of the inauguration, the respected General Secretary personally visited the farm, gave an important speech and clearly indicated the road ahead for the farm going round different parts of the farm for a long time.

Indeed, the Samgwang Livestock Farm is a noble creation erected under the energetic and attentive care of the great father.

The farm real-time monitors, analyzes and controls the state of production and management activities through an intelligent integrated production system.

The first branch of the farm which was visited by the respected General Secretary is striving to improve the scientific level of stock-breeding.

Keepers who had to climb mountains and graze animals, rain or shine, delightfully conduct tending of each animal, like feeding and anti-epizootic work, in a scientific, technological and industrial way while operating the control system in modern animal sheds. This is a vivid picture intensively showing the level of development of our stockbreeding which will make rapid progress under the guidance of the Party.

The fodder processing ground produces different kinds of processed fodder in accordance with the fodder recipe by breeds and the period of growth in an optimized way.

The protected cultivation floor where land-, labor- and energy-saving cultivation system was established has produced hundreds of tons of malted barley which is highly nutritive and abundant in digestive enzymes, vitamin and immunizing agents and fed cows and goats on them, thus making a tangible contribution to the milk production.

The milk production ground filled with modern milking equipment produces diverse milk products such as yogurt, butter and cheese while ensuring the environment of stabilized production and profitability through introduction of an intelligent milk production system based on the virtual physical production system.

The variety of milk products has increased three times in comparison with the early days of its operation. The "Samgwang"-trademarked milk products on sale at commercial service units in different regions including Pyongyang Municipality and Sinuiju City are very popular among the people.

As they are permeated with the noble intention and affection of the respected General Secretary who regards the people as the absolute criterion of creation, the "Samgwang"-trademarked milk products are adding much to the people’s joy.

The Samgwang Livestock Farm is now pulsating with unprecedentedly great confidence and vigor, and confidently advancing towards a rosier future along the road of development and prosperity indicated by the Party.
