Kim Jong Un Goes round Newly Built Unha Scientists Street
Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, went round the newly built Unha Scientists Street.
He was accompanied by Pak Pong Ju, Choe Ryong Hae, Kim In Sik, Choe Hwi, Pak Thae Song, Hong Yong Chil and Ma Won Chun.
He first looked round apartment houses for scientists.
Making the rounds of several flats in blocks No. 3 and 15, he was pleased that they were constructed to be impeccable and furniture in kitchens, living rooms and studies is very high in quality.
One more ardent desire of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il to provide the best living conditions to our scientists has been realized, he said, adding how pleased they would be if they had seen this street. We make a revolution to bring about such reality, he stressed.
Noting that the country thrives when making the revolution with a correct viewpoint and stand on science and talents, he emphasized that the party would consider it as a main objective of construction in the future to build dwelling houses and rest homes for personnel in the fields of science and education.
Then he moved to Unha Nursery.
Going round the wading pool, dining room and kitchen, he said that the parents who leave their children to be taken care of in the nursery would do their work free from any worry.
Looking round the 3rd education class, sleeping room, intelligence play room, combined play hall, indoor and outdoor wading pools, he noted with a broad smile that they were built well to suit children's minds and they would like them very much.
He also went round Unha Kindergarten No. 1.
He entered the playground covered with rubber mat and he was pleased that children might play to their heart's content and naughty children would not get hurt even when they fell down.
Going round a wading pool, Higher 2nd and 5th Classes, Junior 5th Class, dancing room and sleeping room and dining rooms, he praised the builders for constructing each room in such a delicate manner as to be liked by children and furnishing sleeping rooms with smart-looking beds.
At the newly built Unha Senior Secondary School, Junior Secondary School and Primary School he was satisfied to see the best educational conditions and environment provided to the students.
The education of the rising generation is an important work decisive of rise and fall of the country, he noted, adding that educators should become the roots in bringing up the future pillars of the country.
He went round the Unha Health Complex, restaurant, shops and parks in several places of the residential area.
Watching the roller skate site and parks having different playing apparatuses, he highly praised the builders for constructing a multi-purpose park where residents can enjoy both sports and cultural rest.
The builders worked such a miracle as completing a street in a matter of seven months, he said, extending thanks to them in the name of the Central Committee of the party.
