Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Sends Reply Message to President Xi Jinping

 

Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a reply message to Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People's Republic of China, on Saturday.

Kim Jong Un in the message expressed deep thanks to Xi Jinping for sending his warm congratulations and heartfelt best wishes on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

The message said that Xi Jinping dispatched Li Zhanshu, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, as a special envoy on his part, and sent the Chinese party and government delegation to the celebrations for the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK, which was a sure sign of special friendly feelings of Xi Jinping, Chinese party, government and people to Kim Jong Un and the party, government and people of the DPRK.

The message noted that the DPRK-China friendship personally formed and developed by the leaders of the elder generation of the two countries is now under fresh development to meet the requirements of the new era.

Kim Jong Un in the message stated that he would proactively strive with Xi Jinping to further boost the close relations of friendship, unity and cooperation between the two parties and two peoples.

He sincerely wished the Chinese people bigger success in the building of socialism with the Chinese characteristics in the new times under the wise guidance of the Communist Party of China with Xi Jinping as the core.
