Anti-Covid-19 Campaign Continuously Strengthened
Central and local emergency anti-epidemic headquarters at all levels continue to deepen their anti-epidemic work.
More strict measures to completely curb the inflow and spread of the COVID-19 are being taken in a foresighted and scientific way in the areas on borders, demarcation lines and coasts such as Ryanggang, North Hamgyong and South Hwanghae provinces. They are also strongly urging all inhabitants including fishermen to unconditionally obey the order and demands of emergency anti-epidemic headquarters.
Pyongyang, North Hwanghae, North Phyongan and Kangwon provinces secured protective clothes, sprays and disinfectant enough to sterilize public facilities and passenger transport means such as tram cars, trolley buses and buses in compliance with the guideline in a responsible manner.
Underway without any mistake is the work of releasing foreigners, returnees from overseas, their contacts and others who have been under medical observation after being isolated according to the state anti-epidemic system.
As of March 19, all foreigners excluding three have been released after being confirmed through ample medical observation and examination that they had no abnormal symptoms.
All provincial, city and county emergency anti-epidemic headquarters make sure that streets, villages and work sites are arranged in a more hygienic and cultured way and sterilization is held on a regular basis so that this work can turn into an all-people one to prevent the epidemic.
